Norwegian Guarantee Institute for Export Credits : ウィキペディア英語版 | Norwegian Guarantee Institute for Export Credits The Norwegian Guarantee Institute for Export Credits ((ノルウェー語:Garanti-instituttet for eksportkreditt), GIEK) is a Norwegian government agency. It was established in 1960 with the purpose of granting guarantees for Norwegian export companies. It was a state aid to exporters who ran possible commercial risks or political risks. Organizationally, it is subordinate to the Norwegian Ministry of Trade and Industry, and the director is Wenche Nistad. The board of directors elected in 2009 consists of Bjørn Kaldhol (chair), Malin Stensønes, Jon Lund, Christine Rødsæther, Hans Petter Aas, Arve Bakke and Mai-Lill Ibsen.〔 〕 The headquarters are in Vika, Oslo. ==References==
